Celebrating 20 years

Happy Birthday to us! Last Friday we celebrated our 20th anniversary of manufacturing industry leading products, right here in Melbourne. The entire staff, several suppliers, media and Federal MP Julia Banks joined us to celebrate the success and huge growth of Maltra Foods over the past 20 years.

Maltra Foods is a 100% family owned, Australian business. Starting out in St Kilda with only 6 employees, the Eydlish family specialised in making gourmet drinking chocolates for a handful of local cafes in Melbourne. Now in its 20th year, Maltra has grown to be a huge contributor to employment in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne with around 100 employees working to produce powdered food and drinks products sold across Australia and internationally for many well know global brands.
