Maltra Foods is located in Moorabbin, a south eastern suburb of Melbourne. We operate a state of the art blending and packing facility that enables us to service our customers reliably. The manufacturing and packing areas are air-conditioned and can be controlled to temperature and relative humidity to acceptable standards depending on customer requirements. We have separate zones for warehousing, blending and packing, to minimise the risk of cross contamination between ingredients and finished products.
Our production facilities are designed for efficient dry blending and packing to enable us to handle simple and complex formulations. In addition, single batches of product up to a batch-continuous program can be blended and packed.
Depending on customer requirements, special monitoring and control programs can be set up for making products requiring allergen free assurance. Traceability from raw materials through to finished product and into the distribution chain is a feature of the control procedures in place at Maltra Foods.
